“This is not going to work. How did you do it, Peter? Well you probably didn't live in a shoebox dormitory. Okay, I need more practice. I need to come up with a plan.“ The tone is somber.The mood of this line makes me feel sorry for Miles becoming Spider-Man.

I've had Miles Morales on my TBR List for so long, but I'm just getting around to reading any of his books. Loved it. There's all the angst and uncertainty of a teenager. All the same reasons I fell in love with the Peter Parker character when I was a teenager. He doesn't want to be the "brown" Spider-Man, he just wants to be Spider-Man. He's trying to figure out high school while also trying to figure out the whole superhero thing as well.

Might as well start several books at the same time—what with all my extra free time. {sarcasm}

Not a book post but WOW! This movie is everything you‘ve heard & more. It is a comic book brought to life (and that‘s not only a good thing but also a really cool thing) & sets a new standard for superhero movies. It‘s laugh out loud funny, a complex & nuanced story, an excellent character study, & a powerful argument for what makes a real hero. A fun, exhilarating movie that the entire family loved & is looking forward to watching again. 🕸❤️🕸

These two were a really fun introduction to Miles Morales. Vol. 2 is a little confusing, especially if you aren't familiar with the Civil War 2 storyline (I am a little and it was still a smidge hard to follow), but that's kind of typical of cross-over events. Miles is a great Spider-Man, though. Decent storylines but two thumbs up for him 👍🏻👍🏻

This was my first Miles Morales comic and it was super fun reading about Miles trying to balance super hero life with his school life.

There's also some great moments with Ms. Marvel!
