Would so much prefer this to still be a book stall. Why do you taunt me Manchester Victoria train station? @TrishB @squirrelbrain

squirrelbrain Gah - that‘s not very fair! 🤣 6mo
TrishB That‘s mean! 6mo
Bookwormjillk That‘s so wrong! 6mo

Read this, not The Sun, who decided to give the bomber the attention he wanted by putting his photo on their cover. #WeStandTogether

batsy 💚 to you and your colleagues and all in emergency services doing so much 8y
arlenefinnigan @batsy thanks. I work as a clinical coder so I'm not seeing it yet, felt awful when one of our admin assistants told me yesterday "I went up to the children's ward to get those notes you requested on Monday but it's chaos up there". ? 8y
MayJasper I would ban it's publication if I had the power. Such lies and vileness shouldn't be called a newspaper or be allowed to print. 8y
MayJasper 💝 to all Mancunians 🐝 8y
arlenefinnigan @Mayjasper amen to that. There's a petition calling for it to be boycotted on Manchester, which I daresay Andy Burnham will be on board with https://www.change.org/p/andy-burnham-boycott-the-sun-newspaper-in-manchester?re... 8y

Wishing love and strength to my NHS colleagues and the emergency services tonight. Got woken up at 12:30am by a phone call from my mum who was worried that I might have been out in Manchester. I'm 36 and was 6 miles away and she sounded scared. Parents of kids at the gig must be utterly terrified. It's so awful.

batsy Just heard about this. How awful 8y
arlenefinnigan @batsy been fearing for years that Manchester would be attacked. To attack a gig being mostly attended by young kids is just horrific. 8y
Notafraidofwords It's terrible 😔 8y

arlenefinnigan @Notafraidofwords isn't it. You have to take heart from all the people helping - the nearby hotel that's looking after lost children, the taxi drivers offering to take people home for free, the locals offering a place to stay for anyone stranded. 8y
batsy @arlenefinnigan It truly is. Can't begin to imagine what parents & families of those kids must be going through. 8y
rockpools 😔 Wishing you and your colleagues all the best for the next few days. Just heartbreaking. 8y
arlenefinnigan @RachelO thanks. I don't envy our A&E and trauma teams 😓 8y
