pickOkay so I liked it. I like anyone that is speaking their truth. But I am also a kardashian fan. And I kind of believe that she kind of side swiped them with this when if she would have told them she would have had a support system and that makes me sad for her. I hate when someone has to hide who they are. And I‘m happy she is happy is happy.
so-soWell, this was a gossipy listen which was an entertaining companion to a remote teaching lifestyle. It's undemanding, and reads like a trashy magazine. It is what I hoped it would be.

• I am still enjoying this book so much. Here Caitlyn is talking about how Bruce will always be a part of her and she‘s not interested in blotting out his existence. She writes “You can‘t simply blot out your past, your beliefs, your interests. The life that you lived as a father and dad and husband, the accomplishments and failures, do not get sent to the trash with a click of the mouse.” •

bailedLadies and gentlemen I present to you: the cure for insomnia! Ok maybe a bit harsh, but in my case? #truth I had never read a book with this content. I had such high hopes because a story about an Olympian married to Kris K who ended up transitioning into a woman? Who wouldn't want to read that? The problem here is Caitlyn...I'm sorry sweetheart but you're just boring. And you owe me 20 bucks for the book.

pickI wish that I hadn't waited so long to read this. It was wonderful. The way that she was so open and honest about fighting her gender dysphoria, and the effect that it had on her entire life, was heartbreaking and beautiful.

so-soI just didn't get much from this book. There was a lot of pointless name dropping,or negative blurbs about ppl not relevant to her journey. I was also bothered by a real lack of empathy for her family . I applaud her courage,but I can't say I really like her as a person.
I'm not a Kardashian follower AT ALL, only curious about Caitlyn's journey. I expected to look at the photos and skim through the pages. I read it cover to cover. It was delightfully unexpected. She is honest, vulnerable and thoughtful. Above all I found her to be modest and grateful. So glad I picked this up.
Day 4 #JuneTunz I'm not a fan of the Kardashian Klan but when it comes to #BeYourself I have to give all the love & support to Caitlyn Jenner. pickBuzz Bissinger did a great job collaborating with Caitlyn Jenner on her memoir. It very much reads in her voice.
While very readable, I feel that I've kept up with so much of Jenner's story since her transition that there weren't many secrets revealed here. I also believe, now that I've it, that Kris Jenner's fury over the book is purely manufactured for sales... and KUWTK ratings.
Over half done with each of these. It's a rainy day, so finishing isn't out of the question.

pickI really enjoyed this. Candid, honest, and better than I expected. Love or hate Caitlyn Jenner, she has a platform and means. And she seems to be honestly trying to figure out how to separate her new image from the Kardashian fame and do Good.
This section hit home. And is so true. I was not my best self while going through my divorce. And I like myself now, a LOT, but my dealings with my ex-husband bring out a passive-aggressive, angry part of me I don't like.
My current audiobook. The Secrets of My Life by Caitlyn Jenner.
and contained just enough salacious gossip to make it a page turner. I never watched KUWTK, but my daughter did and I remember thinking how sad Bruce looked. And I remember his evolving looks. I appreciated all that Caitlyn shared and explained. Her story was very genuine and this book felt sincere in her desire to share her experience living in a body not meant for you. #POP22 #GenderIdentity 3y
