My daughter was being super quiet and I asked my son where she was and he said over there reading a book. It was so nice to come across. She‘s normally constantly on the run. Both my kids love this book. #raisingreaders

Started reading this story to my pre k class today and stopped after about 4 pages. The book glorifies secrets, and that's not okay with me. I ended up using the book as a teachable moment and discussing why it's important to never keep secrets before moving on to art. No thank you!

After loving Dragons Love Tacos I was very disappointed in this one, although my daughter liked it. I didn‘t approve of some of the messages in the book (the raccoon steals) and this will be going back to the library early.

Erica5 I started reading this book to my pre k class today and stopped after a few pages. Definitely NOT a message I want to teach. I liked "Dragons Love Tacos" by Adam Rubin though! 6y
