Mehso-so

So I finally, finally finished this one. I was expecting a story about messing around with lesbianism in the early 1950's and what I ended up with was far from it. The story was good, about a group of fifteen year old girls in a Catholic Boarding school in Ottawa, but let's just say that the 'secret' that the novel dances around was far more disturbing than I was expecting it to be.

End of semester celebratory #bookhaul! Dystopian murder mystery, Catholic boarding schoolgirls experimenting with their sexuality, an orphan in North Korea and a modern fairytale set in Fairbanks. All in all, it's a pretty good index of what I'm into! 📖🌺 #dystopia #lgbtq #modernfairytale #fairytale #lesbian #fiction #usedbookstore #bookhaul
