Started this one the other night, Friday I think.
This was one of my first BOTM back in 2017 and had yet to read it.
So far it‘s interesting looking forward to how Finkel lays out the story.
“When she came out the other side, everything was right where she‘d left it. And she didn‘t say a word.”
This is a very fun and appropriate book for children of all ages. It almost feels as though you are going on a journey with the main character.
pickLeave Me Alone by Vera Brosgol, 2016. Caldecott Honor Book. This is a story about an elder woman who values time to herself and her hobbies. The woman is trying to find a space where she can be left alone and knit. This book teaches that although people want their space and time for themselves, nothing can replace the love and bonding of a family.

The illustrations are very nicely done. And the storyline interesting.
The story is set in the winter. While this book doesn't have much written parts, it could lead to interesting conversations with your young ones.
Aspirational reading.
The past few weeks have been VERY busy with end of school. My daughter graduated from high school and it was go-go-go.
Needless to say 50 days of solitude sounds pretty good.
