I enjoyed aspects of this book. The frank discussion of sex was great. Cash was cute. Lisa‘s family dynamics were interesting, though I wanted more of them. But altogether, everything felt half-baked: the side characters, the conflict, even the protagonist. Dialogue often felt forced, people‘s personalities were cookie-cutter. In short, I just didn‘t believe that any of these characters were real. Nowhere near as good as The Duff ☹️ 4/10 ⭐️
