I‘m just a few pages into this book and I am already blown away. What a brutal story.

I actually read this book in 1984 when it was first published. It is a fascinating true story and I enjoyed the book very much. There was a recent article in People magazine and Jeffery MacDonald may get a new trial because of DNA findings and other people's confessions.
Hard to get through but interesting because of the close relationships between writer and subject
This story is back in the news after 46 years. He is still denying he did it and his attorneys say they have new evidence. http://www.wral.com/macdonald-hearing-likely-last-chance-for-exoneration-set-for.... This book really creeped me out.
Very gripping true story of a horrible multiple murder and the years of investigation and trial that followed it. While MacDonald is likely guilty, there's good reason to think he didn't get a fair trial.
