Just relaxing today so far. Reading, napping and waiting for my husband to wake up and hopefully feel well enough to go shopping for a new washer-dryer. Both are trying to die on us 😩

Good question 😕
I feel the same sort of gutted response when someone who doesn‘t know my “story” asks me if I have siblings.
Starting this tonight. I‘ve really enjoyed this series, especially and maybe mostly because they take place where I spent so much of my childhood, Capitola, CA right next door to Santa Cruz. She mentions so places I‘ve been. I‘ve never had the zip code to call my own but my grandparents lived there so we all but grew up there.
This is the story of a daughter's request to be reunited with her birth mother and the intricacies of that reunion for all involved. I love Melinda's backstory as it gives perspective re: why she gave Shiloh up for adoption. I love her reunion with Shiloh-so great to read a happy progression of events. A romance-lite occurs late in the story.
Lite, non-angsty reading here but there are still complexities in the story. Works well as a standalone.
The gods are sending a clear message. I've had beach cocktails, a beach cookbook, and now a beach novel -- I see a vacation in my future. @WilliamMorrow
Beach House #bookmail! 🌊☀️
Thank you @WilliamMorrow!
I hate unbound galleys! Those plastic slipcovers make me CRAAAAZY. So I won't review this one unless all the other titles don't pan out. #bookmail1through12
