Enter a decadent sensual world where gorgeous alpha males are committed to fulfilling a woman's every desire. At the elite Honey club, no boundary will be left untested, and one's darkest desires will become a sensual reality. Olivier isn’t sure what he’s gotten himself into when he joins the Honey Club, only that a dark part of him craves the lifestyle offered by this exclusive club. When Amélie invites Olivier to surrender, she pushes him to explore his deepest desires as a submissive. As they grow closer and find themselves falling harder than either of them anticipated, the truth about Olivier’s past could threaten the budding relationship they both long for. Gripping and seductive, The Deep End is the first book in a sensational new series from bestselling author Kristen Ashley.

I wasn‘t sure what to expect going into this, but knew it would be vastly different than other KA books. It‘s her writing and humor, but way more steamy and kinky.

Set in a bdsm club with a Domme/sub relationship that took me a bit to get into. I ended up really enjoying it, but I felt like there was a focus more on the scenes and that the emotional development we usually get from her was secondary and I missed it.

Struggling to finish this book. As an erotic novel, it has a lot of sex scenes. Unfortunately, the scenes are not erotic for me. BDSM is not my thing, especially with a submissive male.

I love KA. I love her writing style, characters, the way she makes them talk and move, how she builds up their connection. I'm a fan because her books had never let me down. I'm not sure how I feel with this one. I love her alpha heroes and this alpha-sub I'm just not used to it. But I didn't dislike this either.

I really enjoyed this! I felt like it's a total reset button for KA! Her most recent books in her ongoing series have felt a little repetitive, like she's been burning out. She told us all that she absolutely had to write this book, the story demanded to be told, and I can see that. I can feel it in her writing. I didn't love the female MC, but I got caught up in the story. I cannot wait for book 2 now!

Ok fellow KA Littens, I pulled the trigger and one-clicked this (even though I'm not finished with my stalker-spreadsheet of her backlist ?) and I'm 25% into it. I want to know your thoughts so far!! Here are mine - Amélie is absolutely not the typical KA female lead, I'm not connecting with her well so far, but Olivier is ? so I'm going to see where we end up. She spent a TON of time world building at the beginning so hopefully it'll pay off!

Bambi_Unbridled I had difficulty connecting to Amelie, but it was a fascinating read. 8y
Pinkmeghan @Bambi_Unbridled I just finished, and I totally agree. I'm feeling like this was KA's reset button of a book, her last few in the Colorado Mountain and Chaos series have felt a bit stale, this ended up reinvigorating me for her books! 8y
