“A new doggy bed! Food, a bowl, a squeaky toy! Mooch has found his home.”

This Poetry book would be great to read to children because it shows that not ever Poetry book has to have rhyming words.
Genre: Poetry
I like this Poetry book because it doesn‘t have a typical “rhyme scheme”. A family takes in a stray dog and ends up “adopting” it, which is something that I can relate back to my childhood when we took in a stray dog.
#bookednesday! A cute little story about a stray dog finding a home; told in a series of haiku.
There on the back steps,
The eyes of a hungry dog.
Will she shut the door?
