This is SUPER late! 😭
🍓 Yes! I love books that have animal narrators! Even better if it's a dragon doing the narrating!
🍓 Mariel of Redwall by Brian Jacques! The whole Redwall series is just magnificent!

While sea rats have been mentioned in prior novels, Mariel of Redwall introduces readers to a first-hand encounter with the pirates. And this story once again brings together the battle of good versus evil. With a hearty dose of friendship and adventure, this delightful tale would be a good starting point for readers interested in the fantasy genre. #fantasy

Mariel of Redwall is the first book in the series featuring a female protagonist.
I wasn't sure since it's been years since I read a Redwall book, but I quickly fell back in love with the Abbey and the Woodland creatures! Plus Mariel was a pretty kickass mouse heroine to finish reading about on International Women's Day. Plus it's my letter J for #LitsyAtoZ. 4 more to go!
Tentative #MarchTBR this doesn't account for ebooks or library reads or whatever I'm in the mood for. #MarchIntoReading
I couldn't pick. I've always been a Pooh fan so here's my daughters Pooh, which she's had since Birth (so almost 22 years). I also love the Redwall world although I haven't read any of them in forever. #anthropomorphiccharacters #feistyfeb
