I really enjoyed this, so much so that I plan to read the novels it's adapted from. I had heard of them before now, but I never took the time to check them out. The graphic novel was done really well, I obviously don't know how it compares to the novel version, but the graphic novel had such a great flow to the story. I was drawn in almost immediately. It was incredibly well done.

This book was pretty good, and a quick read as well. Its about 200 pages, each one full of endless action. Its more of a fast paced book, with a new thing happening almost every chapter. I loved how quick and action packed everything was, and how you develop feelings of hate for the enemies. On top of that, I have the same last name as the main characters. I need to grab the second book soon!

Cfischbuch I liked this first book too!, I wasn‘t too excited that each of the book to follow in the series had a different author. But overall an educational, world-traveling action packed mystery with the Cahill‘s. 5y

First book finally done for The Reading Rush Readathon! I've read this book two or three times before I still love it just as much! I'm sure that it helps that it's written by one of my favorite authors. 😍

Blueberry I love The 39 Clues series. 5y

It was an okay book. I can't help but compare it to the Percy Jackson series. The Percy Jackson series was definitely better than 39 clues. I'm still hoping that this one will get better as the series progresses since the premise is actually very good.

First in the #childrens adventure series The 39 Clues. My favorites are two sets of siblings: Natalie and Ian Kabra and Amy and Dan Cahill. The books in the series alternate being written by different authors. Fun for children learning history.

LibrarianRyan I love this series. So original. And I love how each book is written by a different author that brings a new element to each story even though the characters stay the same. 7y

The 39 clues series is a New York Times best selling series and is great one to have in your classroom. These books take students on an adventure and make them use their brains and figure out mysteries. I think it would be fun to read the first one as a class and see if we can solve the puzzle together and then if a student enjoys it they can move on to the rest of the books in the series. TS-RA

SavannahP0930 UDL 3.3 "guide information processing, visualization and manipulation" by reading together as a class. EL strategy 9: "teach note taking strategies" to help solve the mysteries in the stories. See https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/collections/teaching-content/39-clues-teachi... for help on how to teach these books in your classroom. #Ucflae4314f17 7y

I have had this book since I was in late Elementary School. This book is a great chapter book for students who like good Mysteries. This book is a great read to have in the classroom to help kids get into Mysteries and see what they are like! The 39 Clues book takes you on a journey with Amy and Dan Cahill where they try to find their family's power and the mysteries behind it. #ucflae3414f17

dakotap I would use UDL 3.2, highlight patterns, critical features, Big Ideas, and relationships. This would help with understanding the story and the mysteries within the book. I would also use ELL 15, reinforce the key ideas you present again, so that students can understand the information within the book. I would be able to get the key ideas "stuck in their head". 7y
