#FallTreasures. Catching up

Looking through a list of books #PublishedYearYouWereBorn makes me feel SO old! This was one of my favorite books growing up & I borrowed the pictured edition incessantly from my grade school library. I‘m still not sure how I never ended up buying a copy through a Scholastic book fair! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Daisey I have this exact edition from my mom‘s childhood library, and I loved reading it as well. 3y
LeahBergen I still have that very edition! 3y
DebinHawaii @Daisey @LeahBergen Lucky! I‘ll have to track a copy down one of these days! 🤗 3y

Pickpick

“Annie hadn‘t failed”

Wow, I have realized how lucky I am to have my senses complete. I was impressed with Annie Sullivan‘s patience and ways to teach Helen Keller. This book is a must read.

I decided to read this book out of curiosity. I know who Helen Keller was, everybody does but I got interested about her teacher who probably inspired her. 🤔🤔🤔

Day18 #FeistyFeb #HistoricalHeroines One of my current reads is about some very impressive historical heroines, plus here are four books I practically wore out re-reading in grade school and beyond. I was addicted to memoirs and biographies with strong and amazing women growing up. I need to get back to reading more of them.💜💜💜

Revenge4bess Has anyone read anything about Nellie Bly? Or Margaret Sanger? Or damnit I forgot her name(Frank Gilbreth‘s wife)? She wasn‘t only a career woman; raised 12 children in the process. 4y
