Have you ever read a book that you didn't want to ever end? When Love Arrives, was that book for me. Second book of the Misty Willow series, Johnnie Alexander has exceeded all my expectations. This was a book that once I got started, I could not stop.

When Love Arrives, is a clean, contemporary romance. It is so refreshing to read a romance novel without all the sexual tension and writing. They reference God, and turning their lives to Christ.

If you are looking for a sweet Hallmark type book this is not the book for you. Johnnie Alexander has no qualms addressing Brett's less than christian values in his past regarding morality, and the many relationships he has. Dani is well aware of his past and has no desire of becoming one of many. As Dani and Brett become friends you get the sense of changes Brett has made in his life, and his true desire to become a better person.

Unexpected as this story was, I thoroughly enjoyed! Neither character is developed in their walk with Christ and have serious baggage. The author handles this eloquently and with enough humour that is a good journey! I will be reading the upcoming novel for sure! I really enjoyed Brett's multilayered character, I could relate to his self-doubt and his courage admirable.
