Fred the Mermaid has taken the bait and chosen to date Artur, Prince of the Black Sea, over human marine biologist Thomas. And just in time. The existence of the Undersea Folk is no longer a secret, and someone needs to keep them from floundering in the media spotlight. Fred has all the right skills for that job, but has a hard time when her real father surfaces and tries to overthrow Arturs regime.

Final book in this light hearted rom-com trilogy. By the end, Fred's still a grumpy mermaid, she picks the right guy, the bad guys get their comeuppance, and the good guys swim off into their proverbial sunset.

Nothing too heavy in here, though there are notes that touch on diversity, tolerance, & tact when approaching any topic which is considered "other" but they're uber-subtle.

The whole trilogy would be lovely for a vacation read ??

Found a flat drink bottle! No more angst choosing between hydration and reading! (And practical carry all handbags over smaller pretty ones)

tpixie Lol!! Fun buys!!! I do absolutely hate plastic water bottles!! Everyone says we need to protect the environment , while walking around holding a plastic water bottle. Just that one change would have such an impact! Plus- it's ridiculous we pay for water!! Lol. I think I just went overboard!! 🤐🤐🤐 (edited) 8y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @tpixie, I'm not a fan of single use water bottles either! I've got colourful ones for work and now this one for my smaller handbags! Gotta stay hydrated- it's been a hot summer! 8y
