The household baker has also made these - how amazing do the Oreo ones look 😋 These actually weren‘t from the same cookbook - just some online recipes he fancied baking (but similar to the sort of recipes in the book)
It‘s a blustery autumn day today, so the husband has been baking oat and raisin cookies from The Hummingbird Bakery cookbook (a favourite in our household), before our family comes to visit! I may need to sneak one aside to have with a cuppa and a good book later!
1. Wow, that's a good question! I have to completely believe in the characters and situations, there can be nothing that makes me go "huh?" Some humour and a nice turn of phrase helps and if I learn something, or there's a perspective I hadn't considered before, it's a winner.

Thinking of making this to bring to my brother's birthday coffe tomorrow afternoon but I'm not sure if I want to wrestle with the bundt pan. Haven't used one in years because the cake would always get stuck — now I got a silicone one and trying to decide if this is a good time to try it out 😬
