This is my nighttime book, and I‘m having trouble sleeping. For Pete‘s sake, Julia is annoying and whiny! She‘s also incredibly clingy and needy. Her boyfriend, Michael, is gone for a short time for very good reasons, yet all she does is whine about how he doesn‘t really love her and has broken up with her. Her friends and family need to stop sympathizing with this juvenile behavior from an almost 40 year old and call her out on it.

Day 28 #UncannyOctober #Trick This is the only book in my stacks with 'trick' in the title. My Kindle is playing tricks on me by not letting me download new books or library e-books unless it's done manually with a USB cord. Grrr... 😠I've tried all the troubleshooting tips & it did let me download this book off the cloud just now so who knows? Since it's over 3-years-old, goes everywhere with me & I use it daily, it may be time for a new one. 😩

This is the third book in the Birds of a Feather cozy mystery series by Marty Wingate. I have read a book from Marty's other series, Potting Shed Mystery, but this is my first book from this series. I thought this was an enjoyable little mystery. The setting, a small English village, was great. I loved the look at life in a small village. It seems so nice and cozy.

#24in48 A bit before 11:00PM here & at 3:15:14.14 hours and first book finished. I like this author & both her Birds of a Feather & Potting Shed cozy mystery series. This is the 3rd book in the BOAF series & I enjoyed it overall but thought the mystery was pretty obvious early on, even for a cozy. Still I like Julia & the supporting characters & the little tidbits of English life & bird facts I learn. Paired w/a #24in48readathon chocolate snack👍
