Well, I think we've gone full Kresley...
I was genuinely surprised that I didn't hate this but now I've got to think about what that says about me because dude was all issues.

I'm up late starting my re-read of the next Kresley Cole book for Wednesday's episode of Fated Mates. They decided to include discussion of her Game Makers trilogy along with Immortals After Dark. #romantsy
Strong premise that started better than it finished. Russian mafia enforcer with a past finds love with secretly adopted mafia princess PhD student from Kansas. Trust issues (related to kink and other topics) and bad communication abound. There was an annoying tertiary character (sex-obsessed rich best friend) I could have done without, too.
Just uploaded my wrap up for the BookTubeAThon to my YouTube and to IGTV. Don't know how I feel about IGTV yet... I don't like how there's no organised way to it... Anyway, I finished 4 books & almost finished a 5th for the readathon.

I legit just scrolled through all the #hellothursday posts to see if I could find anyone with my job 😂
Awe!! My partner was out late at a business meeting and brought me home presents! #mugs #love #bookishmugs
Ok so with this series, I stumbled on the second one first (The Master) before realising it was part of a series. So after reading (and loving) the second and third books, I circled back to the first one. And it's definitely not as good as the others.
Still a solid, steamy series on the whole though! #romantsy
🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐
I did enjoy the story but I had some very serious issues with this book, primarily character related. I love a dark dangerous damaged hero, but KC went too far with this one.
The heroine was indecisive and a bit blah.
Not giving up on the series because with improved characters I would have liked this one. #romansty #osrbc
Not quite as amazing as the second one (which I accidentally read first) but still good and hot enough that I was wary of reading it when I was squished next to people on the subway 😳

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I may have blushed through most of this book, but so good!
