So what is evil? What makes a person a villain? Is it intent to harmor is it something deeper than that? Each one of the thirteen authors in this amazing collection has taken a completely different approach to answering this question. They have gone above and beyond expressing the idea of evil and supervillainy. They get to the bottom of why villains are the way they are, and what they hope to gain from it. These are dangerous women wielding Absolute Power and theyll be glad to let you know exactly why you should fear them.

Pickpick

The Trip by Mari Kurisato was this week's #litereads pick, and it both enthralled me for its science fiction worldbuilding and ripped my heart out for its emotional storytelling, so I have to say I personally liked it. You can read my full review below. I hope you'll let us know in the comments what you thought of this story chosen with #indigenoushistorymonth and #pridemonth in mind.

In addition to the wonderful gifts today for the gift exchange, today was also a great day for #queerbooks. Isn't everyday though? 😉I finally got my kickstarter queer short stories and comics!! (I had to email them last week since I think they might have forgotten me). I also got my first package for #qgp1 from the lovely @Bibliogeekery - thanks for the gorgeous Bookjig and I can't wait to read this book! Fantastic pick! ❤

Bibliogeekery Yay! So glad you got it! 🎉 8y
Bibliogeekery Also, what was the Kickstarter? I'm so intrigued about queer villainy! You always have the best books! 8y
Yamich49 @Bibliogeekery I try! 😉 It was put on by Northwest Press to fund the printing of a short-story collection about queer villains that focuses on queer female villains and exploring what being a villain is all about! I personally love queer women and villains so I knew I had to have it! 😆 I just happened to see it on Twitter one day and threw all my money at it. I will start posting them on here if I see any more cool queer kickstarters! 8y
Yamich49 @Bibliogeekery I haven't read it yet but they are official on sale now at: http://northwestpress.com/shop/absolute-power-tales-of-queer-villainy/ and they have print and e-editions available! They also seem to have a lot of cool queer comics and goodies! 8y
Bibliogeekery Sweet! You are my hookup for good queer stuff!! 8y

Are my shelves queer enough yet?

Nope. Not by a long shot.
