the detail of the swirls and dark colors used to show contrast are beautiful and eye grabbing. I loved the detail and black background, making the colors pop even more.

It is clever and intriguing, children will be eager to know what other things have swirls as the pages go on. I also enjoyed their use of this specific design in nature, this will encourage children to explore in nature as well.

The text isn‘t anything special but the illustrations are so vibrant and alive that it‘s what makes the book outstanding and special. I spent so much time looking at all the little details in this book.
pickThe illustrations are beautifully done and so visually appealing. The illustrator used small, short lines to create the swirls and each page looked like it was moving from the swirls. The pictures are seamless with the text and add depth because the text is somewhat dry. Overall, the illustrations make the book great.
