There‘s a lot of details in here but if you‘ve read another Escobar book or seen a documentary (or even the TV Show Narcos), this won‘t be new information.

I've enjoyed several of this author's books, including this one. Incredible how long Escobar was able to evade law enforcement. Columbia as a nation-state is completely hopeless.
Up next on my TBR. Gotta try to finish Killing Pablo before Narcos s.3 releases on Sept 1 and IT before the new movie comes out Sept 7 (~140 pgs left) 😬

pickRemembered that season two of Narcos landed on Netflix last Friday, so I inhaled the first four episodes this afternoon! It's fascinating and riveting, even after having read Bowen's fantastic book and knowing how it will play out.
