1. It‘s an historical romance, and while some may not take those seriously, Julie Anne Long can seriously write some love stories. *swoon* ❤️❤️❤️😉🤣
2. Pride & Prejudice (Keira Knightley & Matthew MacFadyen version)...again with the *swoon*. 🤣
3. Narcissus (daffodils)
4. For simplicity‘s sake, I‘ll say M&Ms (but almost anything involving milk chocolate). ❤️
5. Pink

[DELETED] 3803335244 How can we be friends! You broke my heart & stepped on it when you didn‘t say Colin Firth & Jennifer Ehle! Way better than Matthew MacFadyen!! 😉😉🤣💔💔💔🤪 7y
robinb @ForeverNerdy OK, I will admit that Firth is pretty darn swoon-worthy, but I wasn‘t a big fan of Ehle....🤷🏻‍♀️😂😂😂 And MacFadyen‘s sunrise walk through the field to see Elizabeth? Well....hmmmm...let‘s just say that one scene made me shell out $$$ to see the movie 3 times in the theater and then BUY it!!! 😍😍😅😅😁😚🤩🤭🔥🔥🔥🔥 Did you SEE that scene??!! 😳😳 7y
JenlovesJT47 @robinb I LOVE the Knightley/MacFadyen version!!! 😍 he is so swoonworthy and I love the scene you're talking about, he looks gorgeous! Colin Firth is amazing and gorgeous as well but I love the 2005 version the best. What excellent boiled potatoes! 😂❤️ 7y

robinb @JenlovesJT47 THANK YOU, I have been vindicated!! 🙌🙌👊👊 And may I say, Dirty Dancing is one of my absolute favorite movies??!! 😊👍👏👏👏 You (We) obviously have excellent taste!!! 😁😁 7y
JenlovesJT47 Yes!! 😅😍 I remember the first time I saw the 2005 version I was like meh, cause I love Colin Firth. But man did Mr. MacFadyen ever grow on me! Now I can't get that image out of my head of that sunrise walk. 😍 7y
robinb @JenlovesJT47 I thought MacFadyen did a great job of portraying Darcy‘s initial stiff, arrogant demeanor and his evolution to allowing his vulnerability to show as he fell for Lizzie. I read an article somewhere that the sunrise walk scene was like THE perfect day on-set. I don‘t think THEY even expected it to be that great! 😊 7y
JenlovesJT47 Sigh. Now I'm going to have to watch the movie tonight! 😍 I never get tired of watching it. The music is great, too. And I love Bingley, he's adorable. Rosamund Pike narrated P&P and I'm going to have to listen to the audiobook soon. I really like her too. And their mom is hilarious! 😂 I cringe for Lizzie and Jane every time I watch it. 😅 7y
robinb @JenlovesJT47 I know, it was like THE perfect ensemble cast, wasn‘t it?! And I must admit that every single time I watch the scene where Donald Sutherland is having his talk with Lizzie about whether she loves Darcy or not, I cry too. It‘s such a sweet father/daughter moment when he says, “I could not have parted with you, my Lizzie, to anyone less worthy.” And then that he‘s “at his leisure” should any young men come for Mary or Kitty. 🤣🤣🤣 7y
JenlovesJT47 Yes, I was going to mention Donald Sutherland! That is one of my favorite parts, such great acting! 😭And I love watching Darcy pace in front of the house while Lizzie is talking to her father. Man I really love this movie! ❤️ 7y
robinb @JenlovesJT47 There are really sooo many great scenes in this movie!! And I think it takes multiple viewings to catch all the subtle nuances that really make those scenes special. I‘m due for another viewing, now that I think about it! 🤣😁🙌😊 7y
[DELETED] 3803335244 Yes that scene! I love it! I just never saw Knightley as Jane. I love MacFadyen I‘m Ripper Street, that‘s an awesome series. 7y

I just finished this book (and the series - sigh) the series is 11 books and stayed strong. I'm gonna miss this series - I only wished I had not read the epilogue. It kinda tainted the ending for me 😩 #romantsy

Went through my romances to find books with a #titlewithapropername. Larissa Ione's characters always have interesting names.

This is the 11th and final book in the Pennyroyal Green series, and it's saying a lot that it's my favorite, considering I loved every one of them! The anticipation had really built for this final book, both desperately wanting it but not wanting the ride to end. And often with so much build up for a book, the result can be disappointing. This one eclipsed my hopes and ended up being my #1 for the year. Angst, growth and breath-stealing romance!

monicab50 I'll get there...💜💜 8y
