Finished this on the way back home after dropping my aunt off at the airport (😭). A fantastic read for those who loved the Masterpiece series, though this volume only covers season 1.

In this book, historian & author Helen Rappaport illuminates the central figures in Victoria‘s life, including her family, her court, & her household staff. In short chapters, Rappaport shares a lot of info on Victoria, those around her, & England during her initial time as queen. In short, this book is a good reference & a glimpse at the woman who gave her name to one of the most productive ages in history. - Katina, Area Librarian #royalreads
Lovely pictures from the series. I didn't post the front cover, but the back because I think it is such a lovely and unique point of view. I'm listening to the audiobook by Daisy Goodwin too. 👑
An excellent look at what was the first season of the PBS series through Victoria's diaries and other accounts from the era. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. #readathon #24hourreadathon #deweysreadathon.
#bookmail I have a feeling the ladies upstairs are going to go Gaga for the Victoria book. Might have to add it to the libraries collection.
What do both of these have in common?

(Ok, we'll tell you - they're both "royal!")
