#WickedWords @AsYouWish

Hubby‘s buddy read book actually paid off. Of course, I took some liberties. The #WickedWords is within the word. 😊

“But there‘s no need to worry; the Titanic is the world‘s first unsinkable ship!” 👀

This delivered exactly what I expected from a “book shot”: an easily read, easily digested story with a storyline that moves quickly and believably. Staging the story on the Titanic pretty much ensures that the story will move quickly. Need a quick mystery with a shot of romance? Read this and have fun!

An unusual twist to the well-known Titanic lore. A thieving couple poses as newlyweds to bilk rich people on the ship, but they both have ulterior motives, and end up all over this massive ship, righting wrongs and taking out bad guys as they try to make their way to a lifeboat. A v James Patterson book, but frothy fun, and there are worse ways to kill a half hour. #deweysoct book 2

Ok. #blameitonlitsy I've come to the end of my BookShots book fest. I enjoyed most of them. I liked the twists in this one. They were added to my #tbr list from Litsy recommendations. I wasn't disappointed. Thanks, Littens!

RadicalReader @Read4life what's book shots book life? 8y
Read4life Several Littens recommended multiple BookShots to me. A friend loaned me a bunch so I decided to have a "bookfest" and take them all at once. They're short reads--about 2 hours each. 8y

DebinHawaii @Shortstack @saresmoore @BookishFeminist @Cinfhen @FictionFox Thanks you all. ❤️ Fun what a good hot pan for the fish & a candy mold for the butter can do. It tasted pretty amazing too. 😋👍 8y

I have read James Patterson in the past but he is one of my husband's favorite authors. So I picked up three of these Bookshots for #24in48 in hopes that I could get my husband to read along with me this weekend. It worked! I enjoyed this 2 hour take on the sinking of the Titanic from another angle - kidnapping, extortion, thieves, and love stories. This was a fun read and I will be picking up a few more of these quick stories.

Reviewsbylola I will read pretty much anything about the Titanic! 8y
LauraBrook @Reviewsbylola Me too! Adding this one to the list. 8y
Reviewsbylola I read a really great fictional account from the viewpoint of the crew members aboard the Californian. It was very well done. @LauraBrook (edited) 8y

LauraBrook Haven't read either of them, @Reviewsbylola @Cinfhen , but they're both on my TBR now! Thank you! 8y
Cinfhen @LauraBrook @Reviewsbylola @Mdargusch I read The Captain's Daughter a few years back, and it has just stayed with me. The writing is not very literary but it's a gripping story and please...who doesn't love the Titanic💕 8y

Reviewsbylola Taking the Titanic looks good! 8y
Reganw I read Hatchett along with my son while he was reading it for school. He really liked it. I think I was worried he wouldn't so I didn't like it as much, lol. 8y
EvieBee Royal Albert mug too?! So much loveliness in this pic. 8y
Mdargusch Thanks @evil bee. Not sure about the mug, it's been around for years. 8y
Mdargusch I finished Hatchet last night @Reganw - I thought it was a great story. I've started reading more YA and I've realized that I should've read more of the books my kids read when they were growing up. I also just read Stargirl and Anne of Green Gables. 8y
