I liked it. It has some maze runner vibes. Light read just like the first.

Started off my summer break with coffee and finishing The Hunt. Let‘s just say I‘m glad I have the next in series ready to go and more coffee in the pot because the end had a huge cliffhanger. The type where you need to immediately jump into the next book.
The kids escaped the Cage, escaped the Hunt, but can they make it to the gauntlet and succeed in freeing the human race?
Totally forgot to post this yesterday. 😬
1. Art class final project. The students are making sculptures by wrapping themselves in packing tape.
2. Alien abducted teenagers forced into zoo like entertainment areas and typical YA Stockholm syndrome.
3. YA but also #romantsy and epistolary novels and time travel and sometimes memoirs and history if done right.
4. Yesterday was sunny and 86f
5. Nothing yet!

LOMG that ending! I can‘t even. The world building was fascinating. The characters kept me on the edge. Oh and the romance… totally gave me the FEELS.

For some reason, I can't find the Gauntlet yet. But I'm starting this book beauty now! It's book birthday is the day after mine, yet another reason to read it! #edelweiss #arc #favoriteauthor
Wow! I didn't think this series could get better but it did! There's no middle book syndrome here this was actually better than book 1 IMO. Also love Cassian even more!!!! Can't wait for book 3!!
