Just realized I haven't read her first four books, nice surprise. She has another coming soon too. Great book this. Doesn't feel like you're reading, just feels like you're there.

#TBRtemptation post 5! The Booker Prize-winning author turns to WWII in this novel. 1940 London during the Blitz. Elinor and Kit are ambulance drivers, while her husband, Paul, works a an air-raid warden. Old loves and obsessions resurface bringing Elinor face-to-face with an impossible choice. This novel works as a standalone though it's the climax of a trilogy which started back with WWI. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
I've been reading Pat Barker since Regeneration was assigned at school and although the Life Class trilogy didn't leave quite the same mark as that one did, this was still a great read & a great ending to a thoughtful trilogy.
