This was an excellent read. Joyce Johnson delves into the beat generation and the personal relationships she shared with several writers from that time (Kerouac primarily). I've always been a fan of the beat writers, and Johnson sheds new and fascinating light on them as she unravels her story. A highly recommended memoir.
