There‘s something compelling about the Spenser character. In this case he‘s hired to find out whether an obnoxious Hollywood star killed the young lady that was with him or if her death was really an accident. His investigation brings him up against bodyguard Zebulon Sixkill, thus the title. After Sixkill is fired by the star, he joins forces with Spenser. This may not be Parker at his best, but even on an off day, he‘s still a pretty good read.
