#AugustGrrrl #WhatAFeeling I feel like I missed so much being away from Litsy most of yesterday but a 5PM outdoor wedding at the North Shore took up most of my day getting ready, meeting up with a friend & getting there (& back) & the wedding itself which was windy as heck, but magical. What a feeling to see two good friends finally tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony. 💜 I'll be catching up on yesterday's missed posts & introverting 😆today.🌺

I needed a palate cleanser and so far, this is just the ticket. Breezy, funny, take on #TheShopAroundTheCorner set in world of #desserts w/lots of nods to 30s movies. Racing thru it - 200 pages in but think this fits the bill.

Stacey Ballis is one of my favorite authors. As a bit of a "foodie fiction" addict she's basically a goddess to me. I'm barely three chapters in and I've already drooled on myself imagining some of the dishes in this book.

Have to say although I called the ending, I was NOT at all disappointed! Absolutely fell in love with Stacey Ballis's ability to storytell and relate to her characters! And the dog- Snatch- LOL
So true! Lol- all of the food described in here makes me feel as if I'm gaining 20 lbs just while reading!!!!
