I found book 16 today! I have an incomplete set so I‘m always looking for my missing copies in the same series style. Ready for #Botswana #foodandlit in October! @Catsandbooks

This was a much needed comfort read. Even the title is beautiful. 5 ⭐

Anyone who is familiar with this series won‘t find it surprising that Mma Romatswe has a hard time actually getting work off her mind when she goes on holiday.
I love that everywhere she goes she wants to help the people she encounters, and the overall positive outlook of these characters.
I always find myself craving tea and cake while I read though. Wonder why 😘🍰☕️.

Reading this series certainly fills my days with #Sunshine
This was one of the least enjoyable ones in this series, I usually love these books. In this one Mma Ramotswe took a holiday as a result I don‘t think it had the same dynamics as others in the series as it didn‘t have the quality of interactions with the other characters. Also not sure it is working for me since making Mma Makosi as co-director as has again changed the dynamics between the two of them. Almost antagonistic relationship in this one.
Started listening to the tagged book, which is book 16 in the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency. So now I have book 15 (physical book) on the go at the same time as book 16! Must be mad! Read books out of order many times but never two books in the same series at the same time!
This reminded of the first couple of books in the series. I enjoyed the humor and the brief glimpses into how the characters have changed. And the audiobook is enchanting!
This book is on my TBR pile, but I really made this post to try out a different collage app. It's kind of neat. I also want to read the series in the right corner. Sidney Chambers on PBS is swoon-worthy!
I read the first book in this series quite a while ago. I think I may pick up book 2. #blameitonLitsy #MayBookFlowers #Sunshine
And the adventures of Mma Ramotswe and Mma Makutsi continue. I have loved this series from the very beginning!
"Oh, there are many trees in this life. It does not matter too much which tree you choose, as long as you choose the right one."
Finished hour one of the Dewey's Readathon, and am on page 41 of this fun book. If you are interested in southern African culture and like a good cozy mystery, this is the series for you. It makes me giggle and takes me back to memories I had of when I was raised in that part of the continent.
