A Friday without the kid means time to finish a book. I really like Alex Cross and how quick the books read. Interesting and unexpected twist! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alex Cross is back with another thrilling mystery and this time it‘s personal when his niece is involved!
A killer known as Casanaova is kidnapping girls coast to coast, and after one, Kate, barely manages her escape, Cross now has a partner as invested as he is in seeing justice done.
Casanova was definitely a character with the potential to give you nightmares!
The movie has always been a solid favorite for me. Being objective, I have a few plot-hole issues where my suspension of disbelief took a little more work than usual. However, I was deeply invested in the mystery and the easy writing style kept me turning pages. I do find the movie to be better, but the killer plot alone gives this a pick.
I loved this book! I think I liked it better than the first book. Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
1. ALL OF THE ABOVE. 😁❤️❤️❤️ 2. Mostly all the books I read are “scary”. However, the last book I read that was truly scary was Pet Sematary. 📚❤️
Friday again, which means 4 hours in an empty library for moi!
I sorted by series...
And I enjoyed it!
I am not sure why but this may be my favorite Alex Cross book, okay I do know why it is because I love the movie version so much!! However this book goes into a lot more detail of the crimes and what Casanova does to the girls he collects.
💋💋💋💋💋
another James Patterson book and the amazing Alex Cross series. I‘m honestly losing the plot with myself because I‘m reading them in such a higgledy piggledy order😂 anyway, loved the storyline and as always I love the way he writes. ❤️ really recommend this book because I love a good thriller and the Alex Cross series always tends to keep me on the edge of my seat. Loved it!
Next read this week... I am surprised that I have never read this one.
So stinking good minus a few short scenes I could‘ve done without! I do not care who knows, and for anyone who tracks my likes you already know, I freaking love me some James Patterson! Unlike some of his other books where he reveals the killer early on so he can write from their perspective, I had no stinking idea who Casanova was until right at the end! So good!!
100% will be reading the rest of this series. I love that Patterson doesn't shy away from showing racial injustice in his books! It's something that has really stuck with me.
I'm playing #catchup on all my challenges today. Rather than post a ton of individual posts, I thought I pull each photo challenge together into one. So, here are days 6-8 for #sizzlinsummerbooks.
6: Library- pictured is a random section of my massive Kindle library.
7: Celebrity Love- Morgan Freeman who I adore. Imagined him as Alex Cross well before he was cast for the big screen.
8: Time Travel- a time travel book that sounds interesting.
