This was beautiful and creepy! I didn‘t know I needed this but I loved the inversion of the usual tropes of feminine body horror. Also creepy insects and ladies getting revenge!

So... I may have gone on a mini shopping spree today 🤓📚 #kindlebookhaul #kindledeals
I know I'm late for day 5 of #sizzlinsummerbooks, but this was the first thing I thought of for the #bug prompt, and I finally found a non-spoilery panel. I loved how this book simmered with justified rage and used sci-fi/fantasy tropes to turn expectations over even as it flipped tables.
InSEXts is an erotic, twisted Victorian fantasy. Certainly, it's different from any other comic I've ever read. Ariela Kristantina's artwork perfectly captures the gothic mood of Marguerite Bennett's tale of forbidden love between Lady Bertram and her servant Mariah. The story escalates with each issue, and I enjoyed how the mythology for the world in InSEXts expands. #InSEXts #comic #comicbook #erotic #erotica
Decided to break up my reading of Un Lun Dun with this graphic novel. I'd previously read the first issue but fell behind on later issues. So far, I've read the first two issues in here, and I love the introductory letter by Marguerite Bennett. Provides a perfect context for the "erotic body horror" story that follows. #InSexts #GraphicNovel #erotic #horror #MargueriteBennett #ArielaKristantina #bodyhorror #bodyimage
❤️❤️❤️ So much love for this series! I hope it continues to be wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated. Feminist horror comics are apparently my jam. 😂
