pickTwenty years after the second world war, an Italian general is sent to Albania to recover the bodies of the fallen soldiers. I really liked the writing of Ismail Kadare. I highly recommend this book. I read it for my #WorldTour challenge. The next book for this challenge is going to be one by Boualem Sansal, an Algerian writer.
