I can't do it. The writing in this book is so bad that I just can't go on. I love the idea of learning about Thai folktales but I'm spending more time rolling my eyes at the writing/translation than I am thinking about the stories.

The translator says he purposely made the writing very simple. Simple is okay but this is terrible.

I need another Thai book that I can read in a day for #readaroundtheworld. Suggestions?

I'm still waiting for my #Thailand book to arrive. In the meantime I'll eat some Thai food (or more accurately Americanized Thai food).
