pickMore Star Wars reading!!! Great little book of stories that leads right up until the movie. Made me want to read more about before these stories! They were fun and light. My favorites were definitely Finn and Rey‘s.
Best thing I learned from Before the Awakening: Poe Dameron *for sure* has a crush on General Organa (& is also just as sassy and reckless as the movies led me to believe)
pickWith all of the hoopla regarding the new movie, I couldn‘t resist this book. I really enjoyed getting a bit of the backstory of the three characters Finn, Rey, and Poe. Not any earth-shattering revelations but rollicking good fun.
On Thursday my great grandmother passed away, and so I've been silently dealing with emotions I'm not sure I can put into words. But today, we went to donate some food to the animal shelter and I found a little guy that stole my heart. His name is Finn (or FN2187 or Finnasaurus Rex ) and he has brought light to a dark week.
His name comes from Star Wars. We wanted him to be Finn but he has Rex's markings on his head, hence the dinosaur nickname.
So this weekend my friend and I went shopping and we decided to participate in a Christmas Angel event at our local malls where you pick out a few kids & their wishlists and get them items they wished for. I of course picked two kids who wanted BOOKS! Went shopping yesterday and bought a ton of books for them but also got this one for myself to read (hopefully) before the new movie comes out!

Super into this book. If you liked FORCE AWAKENS and you wanted to know a little more back story on the three main characters, this answers a lot of questions. So far, I've learned about Finn's life as a cadet and why he ultimately made the decision to go rogue, and how Rey managed to learn how to pilot when she's been stranded on a desert planet for years. About to start reading Poe's part. Can't wait. #amreading

pickRead this one in one day! Quick read with 3 novellas over the main characters in The Force Awakens. Gives Finn more depth, makes you want to cry for Rey, and makes Poe seem even more like the coolest pilot ever (sorry Han).
