Book Twenty in Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series is a vast improvement on the dud that was Retribution but this one still felt lackluster to me. Our heroine is Lydia, a Dream-Hunter and these beings are the least exciting of the supernatural beings in the DH world, the Wonder Bread of beings. Our Hero is Seth, Son of Egyptian God Set, an immortal demigod, Mr. Tall, Tortured, and Ripped. To save his life, Seth needs to get the "key" to the entrance ⬇️
You aren't going to jump into this series at #20, so indulge my rant, please and thank you. Most of the early characters have been sidelined at this point, there are entirely too many pantheons being incorporated, and as much as I love a hot guy, they all seem mid-20's, ridiculously tall, and emotionally cut-off until this⬇️ 4y

Nothing about this cover looks like a Paranormal Romance. Young Fred Savage in The Princess Bride would be disappointed to find that this is a kissing book. So perhaps the Most Rage Inducing Cover is a more apt description, but again, indulge me. 4y
