Post a photo to Litsy AND email it to me at monalitsy@gmail.com showing that you voted in your local elections (or performed some equivalent, civic duty if outside the US) by 11/18. I‘ll send you an early access sign-up link to the #ALSpine registration form on 11/20!
Otherwise, #AuldLangSpine will open 11/25 at 8pm (EST).
Limits: 50 early access voters & 70 participants total!
monalyisha *Given the high interest, early access links will go to the *FIRST 50 LITTENS* who can show that they‘ve voted (or the equivalent if you live outside the US). I‘m filling out my ballot this weekend (still tracking down info on the multitude of judicial candidates on the ballot this election…WHY is it so hard to find info on judges?!) and will post a pic when I drop it off on Monday! 1y

Clare-Dragonfly Ooh… I think I recycled my sticker (because it came stuck to the paperwork so I couldn‘t stick it on anything else!) but maybe I can screenshot my “we counted your ballot” email. I‘ll see if I can find the sticker, though, because that would be a more fun picture 😆 1y

AllDebooks This sounds a fun way to interact. I volunteer for our local community groups Friends of Clowne and Plastic-free Clowne here in the UK. We regularly organise fundraising events and litter picks. Do they count as civic duty? 1y

monalyisha @AllDebooks You don‘t have to email me your list yet! Actually, registration isn‘t open yet. It‘s limited to 70 participants. But if you email me now, I‘ll be sure you send you an early access link to the sign-up form on the 20th. In the past, lists have needed to be between 5 & 20 books. I‘m thinking of upping the minimum this year, likely to 7. Good to get ready, though! Spots fill quickly once it does open! (edited) 1y

monalyisha @thegreensofa I don‘t want anyone to be penalized simply due to geographical happenstance. Think of a way in which you‘ve engaged with and improved your community & send me an email. It‘s more about the spirit of the law than the letter! Though, I do want to encourage voting in local elections here in the U.S. (edited) 1y

xicanti I simultaneously love this and am bummed I have no proof I just voted in my city‘s mayoral/city councillor/school trustee election. We don‘t get stickers or anything like Americans do. 😔 Guess I‘ll just have to be quick off the mark on the 25th. 1y
