Nothing can top Life After Life for me, but this was close. The Todd family is my favorite (right after the Mitfords).

I'm excited and a little scared to start this, but may just leave it on the couch since it looks so great with my throw pillows.

My work bookclub just read this, with mixed reviews...mixed because half the group didn't read it at all. The half that read it liked it (but we all agreed that we hated the Chalfens, both in character and in their role in the narrative). Next up is Elizabeth Gilbert's The Signature of All Things!

I loved Life After Life so much I bought this the moment it came out, but like a weirdo I didn't want to start it because that means one day it will end. Taking the plunge now!
