My friend and I have loosely been buddy reading this book since October. It's very atmospheric and I love the main protag. She is just good. Kick-ass, independent, flawed. I'm very into it. Plus witches? I didn't know I liked witch books, but this confirmed I do like witch books. Sick.

This book seriously messed me up.
The entire experience was some kind of psychological mine field. I have the feeling that the overall vibe of this book, in at least my experience, could very well parallel some kind of fucked up drug trip? I've also never done drugs so my advertising may be false haha.

I just know that this story is going to stick with me for the rest of my life, & it is the reason if I ever randomly break out in sobs.
