The Reapers | Ali Winters

Pickpick

I adored this book. It's about reapers (think the Grim Reaper in plural), which was what intrigued me about the book in the first place. And I really liked Winters' take on the reapers. It's original and intriguing, and from the start, I wanted to know more about the world. And the world-building was amazing, which only strengthened my need to know more. And with twists you won't see coming, it'll keep you guessing from start to finish.

"'Everywhere is paradise, just a different kind.' Her maps told her that much. The world was wide and diverse; there were highlands and lowlands, frigid mountains and tropical jungles. Who was to say which was better than the other?"

Vortex Visions is finally available! I reviewed an early copy, and it's seriously so good. The world-building is intricate and wonderful, and I adored Vi. There's so much to this world, and I can't wait to see more.

"Maybe great, epic romances don't just happen. We have to make them ourselves."

I just adore this quote from Cress by Marissa Meyer. It's so sweet and great. I don't want to pick favourites in this series, because all of them were great in different ways, but I really loved Cress and Thorne's story.

I just realized I haven't posted here in months! I'm so sorry, it's been really hectic lately, and I've struggled to keep up with my social medias. I probably won't be too active here, there just aren't enough hours in the day, but I'm more active across my other social medias.

Anyway, I recently read this book and loved it! The fantasy was amazing, and the descriptions were great. A definite must-read for fantasy fans!

I absolutely loved The Crown's Game! The magic was amazing, I adored the characters and it was really unique and original. It's a must-read for every fantasy fan, and I can't wait to read the next book. Plus, I mean, they're gorgeous. What booklover doedn't have a weakness for a beautiful hardback?

Pickpick

I'm sorry I've been MIA lately, but I've been really busy with work, and then we went to visit family over Midsummer, so I guess I've forgotten about this.

I read Wintersong a few weeks ago with my friend Chez, and I really liked it. I found Liesl very relatable, and I absolutely loved the Goblin King. Has any of you read it and what did you think?

Gardenofbooks I'm actually read half of the book👍 7y
thereadingfaery @Gardenofbooks Ohh, that's great! I loved it so much! 7y

"When is there ever a right time to fully give your heart to another? There are always going to be obstacles. You just have to decide which ones are worth it."

Can we take a moment to appreciate the awesomeness that is this series? And this quote is awesome! What makes it even better is that it's said by a demon, and just about the last person you expect to say something so... sweet.

Chezreadz I jist finished the Convenant series (thanks for that btw) and ALL THE FEELS!!! So now I'm going to be rereading this one because I miss a certain sexy demon😏😏 8y
thereadingfaery @Chezreadz You're welcome! I know, right? YESS! Let's reread together! 8y
