Look at all these great books! So March is over and here are all the books I bought (minus The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan which is on its way). In my defense it was my birthday this month so some of these were gifts. The rest came from my local library for 10 cents each or Goodwill for $2-$5.

So there is a soundtrack for WoT......'A Soundtrack for the Wheel of Time' by Robert Berry. You can listen to it on Spotify but know that it is not what you would expect it to be....

Finished book two in my wheel of time reread! I can hardly believe all the things I don't remember about these books!

Moved the books into the library today. Just used the shelves we had but plan on building custom shelves for the room! I'm on book two, The Great Hunt, in my reread of the wheel of time series, any one else a fan of this series?

TuesdayReviews I‘m going to start a reread in the near future. Finally reading the Companion now. 6y
TuesdayReviews Our house had beautiful custom bookcases wall to wall in the basement den when we looked at it. Bought and moved in the find them gone. Need to start calling this week about having a nice set of built-ins made. 6y
steoste @tuesdayreviews I ordered 'the world of Robert Jordan's the wheel of time' and I can't wait to look through it! I plan on getting the companion too but it looks like it's a lot like the glossary in the back of the books so I opted to get that later. 6y
steoste @TuesdayReviews what a bummer! At least you already have a dedicated space though. 6y

I first started this series when I was young and it was still being written. I've decided to reread it from the beginning and finish all 14+ books since the series is now complete. I recall really enjoying the first three books and I believe they may be the best of the series but I can't say for sure as I haven't read all of them yet.

Not quit as good as the first and last books in the series but still great and the series would not work without it.

Even though this is a young adult book, and by that I mean very young, it is one of my all time favorites. I've read it several times and it never weakens. A must read. If I ever make one of those '100 books to read before you die' type lists this will absolutely be on it.

BooknerdsLife Couldn‘t have agreed with you more! 🙌🏼💜 I think this book touches people of all ages on a different level, a Must read and a I totally need a reread too! 6y

After the whole book being about how miserable people in long term relationships are how am I supposed to feel optimistic about Mark and Bridget and unlike the book this is based on, Pride and Prejudice, no one seems to learn their lesson (one of my pet peeves when it comes to books, I mean what's the point then?). It was enjoyable enough to read and I finished it in one sitting, I also see how it may have worked better as a column than a book.

Listed in the order I read them. I think The Hunger Games series takes the win but if I have to pick just one book to be the top it would be The Hunger Games closely followed by The Martian Chronicles!

Best if read in The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy rather than on its own.

Ray Bradbury has such a dreamy tone it makes the macabre and scary seem beautiful and right. I always love reading stories that take place in the future but were written in the past, the future of the past I call it, only enhanced by my love for dystopian sci-fi. I think it's an important reflection on the misguided ideals of the past and present, foreboding and comforting at the same time. A must read in my opinion.
