This book has given me a newfound respect for cows.
This book was a beautiful patchwork quilt of mystery, science fiction and humanity that didn't tie perfectly til the last page. Everything fits together like unexpected magic. I loved it.
Read in one sitting. A beautiful book full of pictures and artful storytelling, Simmons recounts her journey with lots of humor and a good deal of frustration and empathy. Delightful.
I sat down to read for a little bit and the next thing I know, it's two hours and two hundred and fifty pages later. I'm devouring this book.
A shindy of brawling women may be my new favorite phrase. Thanks, V. Woolf.
I'm speed reading as this is due back today but oh my, am I enjoying this series.
Prince Philip going Agent Mulder is my favorite thing I learned in this book.
Meant to read a chapter or two before bed last night and read the whole damn book. If you like your history breezy and gossipy, this is the book for you.
This book is clearly going to be amazing.
Reading these two at the same time and I've started mixing up my art history with my fictional art history. (But they're both VERY good.)
So good I stayed up late to read it in one sitting. Irreverent, clever and twisting, a surprisingly quick and delightful read.
Loving this book! Friends raving on Twitter is a great way to pick books. 💕
So I went to Powell's today (I may have already read two of these...)
Damerell and I are on the same page
