Wow! I would say this is the best book I've read so far this year. I didn't want to put it down. I've had The Mothers sitting around for several years, but am going to read that next. The Vanishing Half is a must read!

What a beautiful story. The author did such an amazing job at giving each woman her own narrative that you had no choice but to read it in three different voices. A book I'll definitely recommend! 💙💎🦁

I thought it was a little slow to get into but then it really picked up. Someone loaned me the series and I didn't pay attention and read this first by accident. Now to actually start the series....

After a slow start, this book turned into a wonderful story. Both beautiful, and at times heartbreaking, it's one I will highly recommend.

I'm in the minority (and that's ok), but I didn't find this book to gripping or compelling. Glad others have enjoyed it though!

I'm so glad to be finished with this book. It sounded intriguing, but it was disappointing. I found the characters to be poorly developed and I couldn't connect with them or the story. On to something else!

I don't like bailing on books. I was tempted many times to bail on this one but just kept reading hoping it would get better. It didn't. I cannot recommend this book at all. I'm thankful to finally be done with it.
