Overall, I was bored, disappointed and unimpressed with King of Scars. I expected more from Leigh after Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. This feels like a step back. This was all over the place with no plot and awfully white. The characters were flat and a third of the book should've been cut. Nina's chapters were boring and too long. Nikolai deserved better. 500 pages of exposition and recycled/lazy ending. Full review on Goodreads. #kingofscars

Wonderful heist story with six outcast characters. Set in 1889 Paris. Similar to Six of Crows, but original story with diverse characters. Also has National Treasure/The Da Vinci Code vibes with the puzzles and symbology. Loved the way Roshani combined Greek, Egyptian, and Chinese myth. Critques colonialism, anti-Semitism, oppression, and the horrors of La Belle Èpoque. Magic system isn't explained well though. 4/5 stars. #TheGildedWolves

#TheKingdomofCopper is a phenomenal sequel with higher stakes, twists, and action. Exceptional writing and loved the expansion of Davebad. Even better than #TheCityofBrass. One of my all time favorite series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't read everyone's memoir and I wasn't sure I wanted to read this, but I picked up a copy anyways. I really enjoyed this book. Gabby was honest, vulnerable, and hilarious.

I love this Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone 20th anniversary House edition. Smaller than I expected, but great stuff inside. Love the pages with the Hufflepuff house history, the Hogwarts map, the famous Hufflepuff alumni, and all the other extras in the back. #HarryPotter #Hufflepuff
