I have read nearly everything Philippa Gregory has written, especially in this series and time period. But this one was hard to push through. Slow moving, annoying repetition in the character development... meh.

An interesting POV of an infamous story... could‘ve been a great discussion at Book Club, but I had Mr. Mansplain right next to me - trying to convince me that Greek women DID have voices... bc his grandmother may have had an arranged marriage, but she always had a lot of opinions 🙄 Not the same, bro, not the same. Good book though, a few triggering images, but overall a relatable commentary.
