Michael Sullivan's Riyria books are some of my very favorite but I had a little bit of a hard time falling into this world. Part of it is that the story is set 3000 years before Riyria and I kept finding myself wishing I was back in that world. Largely I blame the start of a new school year, which is exhausting and throws me out of my reading habits. The story and characters are wonderful and I can't wait for the next one.

Nothing better than reading a book in rainy weather.
