This thriller was a quick read that kept me engaged throughout the entire novel. There was plenty of forward momentum to make this one hard to put down and it was difficult to guess how the various pieces of the mystery would fit together.

Excited to dive into this one
I really wanted to love this book. I devoured it in one night. The plot was so mysterious and intriguing, I couldn‘t put it down. Unfortunately, the end felt rushed and was a complete let down. I am still left with questions and the story did not feel as resolved as I would have liked it to be.

I always find myself coming back for more from Emily St. John Mandel. I love her writing style and the voice that she gives to each novel; making the most ordinary observations seem intriguing.
