Every time I pick up this book, I get angry all over again. The way our country has been manhandled and manipulated by politicians is disgusting. Read this book and gain some knowledge.

Ann Patchett does an amazing job of creating and drawing out tension. The story of two families and the reverberations that their combination creates for decades to come. A great read and worth picking up.

This book was absolutely spectacular. Vance tells his story of growing up in a steel town in Ohio. Many different forces converged to make his life difficult, but just as many converged to help him thrive. It hit on so many current issues including our education system, welfare, the economy, and many more. This book was compelling and hopeful. Read it and share it.

Never have I ever had to look away from a book as though it was a movie on a screen. That is, until I read this book. The genius at work.
