What an intriguing, extremely honest and readable story. I didn't expect to be so entranced by it, but I enjoyed every moment of it.
This is a story for mature readers (not because of the contents, but because mature readers will appreciate it more). A fine literary piece I will remember for a long time!

Still haven't finished reading Wintersong - will have to pick it back up sometime soon! I really enjoyed what I've read so far, especially the European setting, German culture and language bits and the romance.

Between the Pick rating and the So-So, this is more Pick for me, so I'm going with that.
Goodreads rating is 4/5 stars.

This was, for the most part, a very convoluted and difficult read, with way too many characters to keep track of and storyline that seemed to be very predictable. Thankfully, the last chapter saved this book for me.

It's a heavy book, very complexly built and dark, but I'm glad I got to read it!

One of my favorite classics. I love me some Mr.Darcy!

Wink Poppy Midnight is atmospheric and dark. It's eerie and deceptive. Unpredictable, raw and gritty, and pretty bad-ass. Tucholke doesn't hold back, and that's what I love about her writing. There are no easy answers and no simple solutions, the characters stay strong in their convictions - whether they're right or wrong - and the ending of the story is not you classic Hollywood happy ending, but it's beautiful and perfectly satisfying.

Ania Ahlborn navigates two different timeliness with such deftness and skill! And it all comes together to a beautiful crescendo ending that will blow your mind.

I'm a huge Ahlborn fan and I think every self respecting horror fan should read her books!

A powerful, intelligent, and very deftly plotted Sci Fi novel with environmental undertones that feel all too familiar and real for comfort. Deadly smog, corruption, social divides - it's all stuff we are faced with presently, all around the world.
I breezed through this book, it was so good! And I really enjoyed getting to know the diverse cast of characters and cheering them on their mission. I definitely recommend reading it!
